A little about me.
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 11 years and have been in the Behavioral Health field for about 17 years. I am a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, Certified Trauma Sensitive Heart Math Practitioner, and also trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy I/II, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, and other Therapy Models
How I work.
I help you sort through those overwhelming emotions to help you reclaim your power, so you feel more in control of your life in a way that is real to you. I help you define the relationship that you would like to have with yourself, as well as work through the blocks, because the greatest relationship that you will have is the one that you will have with yourself. I approach treatment by addressing the mind and the body because what happens in the mind happens in the body and what happens in the body happens in the mind. My approach is eclectic as to individualize treatment to your specific needs
I also work with adults who are on a genealogical journey. Whether you were adopted or not, finding your roots, learning your history and family secrets can be very anxiety-provoking, stressful, and throw you out of balance.
